Lightest Double Stroller
When searching for a lightweight double stroller weight and fold size are key factors to take into consideration. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not in use will make it easier to fit in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and streets.
The most lightweight strollers have an easy, intuitive fold that allows them to stand on their own. This helps reduce stress on the body of the parent. A few also come with a broad variety of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The design is geared towards families on the move. Lightweight and compact, with an easy one-handed fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension, as well as the multi-position reclining seat, can be used for children up 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids as well as a large storage bin and a three-tiered canopy that has a windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to its flimsy design as well as hard plastic seats and a design that seems old-fashioned. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for the cheapest option.
It's not the lightest stroller but it has enough features that it is worth a look. Its swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can jump curbs with little effort unlike other light strollers that diverge when trying to accomplish the similar thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height and not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push it with your legs suspended in the air, and it doesn't help that it's not padded.
During our testing, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and open. Close it can be a bit more difficult. You must slide the slider and then press the large white button. This can be frustrating, especially if you're juggling kids at the same time.
The Cloud has a small, but deep storage basket that can be used to fit a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud has an adult and child tray with two cup holders, but both are too narrow to comfortably hold larger bottles or cups.

The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be at least 6 months old and have a solid neck control to ride in the front seat. The stroller has a three-panel sun canopy and each seat comes with its own cupholder and snack tray.
Another stroller that is extremely light is the Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. twin buggy from birth than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) and comes with a lot of luxurious features that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It is similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's a little more expensive but offers a more shady sun canopy and better maneuverability. It also has a convenient carry strap and can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.

Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double that can accommodate two children. Its sling-style seats are comfortable and provide a similar amount of headroom, allowing children to be seated side-by-side. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it comes with a completely reclining seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for napping. Its recline feature is easy to use, however it doesn't really go flat. Children who are taller may have legs hanging out when in reclined positions. It also has a large canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out sun than other strollers in our review of the best double strollers.
The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to move through door frames. This was a major issue with other models we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars sit close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which can feel cramped when full of kid stuff.
